About

This is the personal blog of Ben Johnson, a programmer from Ontario, Canada (remember blogs?).
I’m a Software Architect at Prodigy Education, building software to help kids learn math and caring for the humans who do so. All opinions presented are my own.
I’m into amazing user experiences, visual and software design, coffee, pizza, adorable pictures of animals, and oxford commas.
I have a seven-year-old boy named Toby whose ridiculous exploits are often featured here.
This blog and microblog is hosted by Micro.blog. I recommend it. Microblog posts are cross-posted to Mastodon and Twitter (but I’m mostly on Mastodon).
Typeset in Capricho by Hoftype with webfonts by FontSpring. The design is based on the Rose Pine colour scheme.
